Coordinator of Learning & Student Support

Part-time / start date: fall 2025

The coordinator of learning & student support (CLSS) supports Friends Meeting School (FMS) students who may be experiencing adversity related to learning challenges and/or mental health.  The CLSS works closely with the MS/US dean and the LS dean to ensure a multifaceted approach to support students and communicate home.  The CLSS may also educate the broader FMS community on issues related to neurodiversity and mental health and provide support to teachers and parents to develop the skills necessary to meet student needs.

The person in this role also oversees student learning plans and coordinates the child find process when applicable.  This does not include providing direct learning support for students (e.g., reading specialist). You can read more details about the job responsibilities here.
