Visual Arts
 Visual art is an important part of our curriculum and is taught to all grade levels at FMS.
Studies suggest that not only do students' attitudes, attendance, abilities, and grades dramatically improve when art is part of their school life, but also arts education programs result in measurable gains in student motivation and achievement in reading, writing, and mathematics.
The visual arts are both taught as a class and are integrated into most classes.
Our students frequently enter and win recognition in local art contests.
